production for this film was clearly bigger and was also the Safdie’s one-way ticket to a wider audience. if their prior films were already anxiety driven, this was an introduction into the chaotic minds of the brothers.
the wide / birds-eye-view shots are one of the coolest things i’ve ever seen , they’re so cool to look at. the film has many amazing stills . it’s overall look is incredible. beautiful.
