Carlito's Way

The 3rd act of Carlito's way may be one of the greatest pieces of art on this planet. The camera is a character in this film the way it moves during the scenes creates so much suspense take for example when Kleinfeld dies the suspense building is insane the way it is blocked is insane the sequencing is genuinely some of the best I've seen. And then you have the grand central station sequence it is appalling that De Palma put a long take where the camera works from the escalator down and it works how is that possible. De Palma is becoming one of my favorite directors ever and this is one of my favorite movies ever off of First watch.
