High and Low

The blocking in this film is amazing the contrast of how characters are aligned will basically tell you how the story will go. Akira did an amazing job at moving his characters around like chess pieces just to get the right blocking. The movie also is really 2 acts a personal drama in the first half and then a police blackboard thriller with us trying to put together all the pieces. The film's title also has multiple meanings as you go throughout the film. High and Low can mean High and Low Morality,High and Low Rise Housing or it can be a hint to the investigation, but it is also Heaven or Hell and your choices to get there.
