One Battle After Another

The hype is extremely well deserved. This is a movie that feels like it should be released post events not during the events which is crazy because there is no way PTA could have known that when OBAA released that we would be living in this america. It is pretty much a cliche at this point about how much I love PTA's camerawork the sequence where Bob meets Sensei and is companioned with him to the safehouse is just amazing the long takes/free cams are just as good as the boogie nights new years scene. One thing I also noticed when watching this is how real it feels once again the story in OBAA is very apparent in today's world. In terms of acting I think everybody brought their A Game Chase Infiniti is amazing in this. Leo sinks into his role being comedic and serious in this. Benicio is amazing in this Teyana and Sean Penn are amazing in this too. The Genre Bending nature of this being a Political,Action,Comedy,Thriller all in one. I think this puts PTA in one of the best filmmakers of the past 30 years. I think with this he clears tarantino I thought that before this movie. Can't wait to rewatch this because I had an amazing time in theaters with it.
