Before Sunset

“ we’re not real anyway right “ Before sunset is a film made to question things like what if you had a second chance in your life and how would you seize that chance …. Jesse and Celine’s meeting and bond in the first film shows us what they have and what they could’ve been but when we’re young and stupid the harsh decisions we take may backfire on us . The two lovers meet after 9 years when they’re older and ready to make decisions more rationally in a setting in Paris which is absolutely mesmerizing every second of this movie is polarizing and the conversations between them are completely engaging too . This is the most realistic potrayal of love I have seen too it’s messy and unfiltered and it’s just two people trying to have the best possible time and connect with the other person . Richard Linklater is a true magician with his directing and we can see that in this movie and Ethan hawke and his character … one of the best written and hawke’s acting is effortlessly perfect And overall makes for a perfect film in my opinion which is rewatchable anytime ….. and like one of the reviews said I love before sunset because it allows me to inhabit a world where people like Jesse and Celine exist P.s I refuse to watch the the third film ( before midnight ) because I believe that the ending to this movie is perfect as is cus it left me wondering about where Jesse and Celine might end up for the future …
