Before Sunset
I guess a memory is never finished as long as you’re alive.
Something I like about this movie is that you are learning about them the same time they are learning about each other. Like they don’t have any knowledge the audience doesn’t and I think that’s cool and allows for the audience to really form an honest opinion. For example, I think I wouldn’t get along with Celine, I think she’s a bit dramatic for me. But that’s part of the story that I like, that I get to form that opinion at the same time Jesse is simultaneously learning about her, and re-falling in love with her. Idk if that makes sense but yeah
Also they were able to capture the regret, the what ifs, the tension, all the emotions so perfectly. It jumps right off the screen into your chest and makes you really think and reflect on not only what you are watching, but your own life experiences.
