Dead Lover

Started off pretty unique, but it lost me around the 25-minute mark. I had to force myself to sit through the rest. Despite being so colorful, visually gorgeous, and having such a unique, fun style that's like arthouse indie, I've noticed a pattern with films like these - they're often terribly paced and rely too heavily on striking frames over engaging storytelling. I really wanted to love this. Still, it looked cool as hell, and the cinematography definitely gave me some inspiration for my next short film.
