i thought this was going to be a nice happy lil coming of age film, but rather i am left in a fragile emotional state deeply disgusted by the all too normalised homophobia among young children and further reeling over the grief of a loved one passed.
i mean this one really fucking hurt.
i am very fortunate to have never lost someone close to me but god this film brings up all those fears, all the pain.
it’s so beautiful and yet so painstakingly impactful and sorrowful.
