Before Sunrise
omg, where do I start? This movie is different from any other romance movie I’ve watched before, mainly because it’s not set in New York and it’s just a very conversational movie. You see the undertaking and process of their love and how it was undisputed and pure over the span of one day. This movie is definitely a thought provoking movie. Both Jessie and Celine discuss topics that often cross our minds, topics we might be passionate about but most of the time never really have someone to share our deep inner thoughts with. And it’s truly beautiful that Celine and Jessie are that person to one another. I just feel like this film was able to capture the veracious essence of life and love. Their chemistry was on another level, I can feel that they’re soulmates through the screen. I feel like there is also this realistic aspect to their story where they can’t be together due to the distance between them and they both can’t leave their lives simply for one another which shows the maturity of both Jessie and Celine. However, if I did experience the same love they did, I’d voluntarily leave everything behind for my soulmate 💔 i’m definitely excited to finish the rest of the trilogy !!
