Waves
Watching this movie with no expectations or spoilers made it a completely different experience for me. I genuinely enjoyed every part of it and was completely indulged in the movie. This movie is a true masterpiece, and if anyone claims otherwise, they’re probably lying. The film is art, and this movie made me feel the art throughout. The use of sounds, colors, and the way everything is put together just makes sense. It’s truly a creative piece of art, and I don’t think I’ll ever find a movie that competes in that aspect. It was a refreshing movie to watch i didn’t feel bored for a single minute of the two hours. However, besides that, the plot was also emotionally driven. You can feel everyone’s emotions, which makes you think and reflect a lot. You find yourself putting yourself in everyone’s shoes, wondering what they felt and how they felt it in each situation. This helped me remember that I always need to sympathize with everyone around me. I never know their circumstances or what they might be going through. Totally unrelated, but I really hated the dad until the end point was near. I started realizing that he too was struggling with those emotions. The way we perceive and grieve is never a black and white process or image; it’s too complex and deep for that.
