American Psycho

This is one of the best satires of the modern age disguised as a slasher horror! *I don't really know what to say, because I still feel like I don't 100% understand it. First off, Christian Bale. He gives us one of the best performances of all time, that is super chilling. You can never guess what he's gonna say or do. The way he keeps talking about his favourite song is the same as he talks loudly how he wants to kill someone. Priceless! The satire is super good! The sameness of everyting around and that leading to Bateman getting away with 20-40 murders is really terrifying. Everyone looks the same, sounds the same and nobody cares what anyone has to say. This also lets Bateman getting away with using so many different names that even he can't keep up with it at the end. Every scene has something hidden in it or under it. Some of them live rent-free in my head (besides the memes). The only negative I can give to it is that the detective plot line doesn't really go anywhere. But that is made up with the fact that Jared Leto gets brutally murdered. 10/10 *
