[70/100] A very thought out and well crafted adaptation. The interview scene with Arthur Leigh Allen is seriously good filmmaking on literally all fronts. Unfortunately, Ruffalo’s performance weighs this film down a lot for me. His performance is closer to a Jean-Pierre Melville protagonist than a 70s LA detective.
