Signs

“Swing away, Merill, Swing Away” personally do thing this may have been the peak of Shyamalan, everything post this hasn’t been anywhere near as thought provoking or eerie in the way this one was.  the alien walking past the bush scene will forever haunt me for real, didn’t make me full on jump this time but bloody hell it still give me the shivers.  don’t think the cinematography was talked about for this movie enough, love the shots behind the boarded up doors, the shots when Merill and Graham are talking about faith or luck were excellent as well such nice shots.  think the comedy is also so good like unintentionally maybe but Shyamalan gets the family dynamic so spot on in this one for me, one of my all time favourites but maybe it’s just because it’s got aliens in.
