Quickly becoming one of favorites of all-time. There’s so much to gain after becoming familiar with the characters that you really miss on a first watch. A lot of interesting details that really tell a sad and depressing story about 2 guys who just want to drink some good wine. Payne is a director I feel deeply connected to because of how well he is able to make his stories feel real in a way where I want to know these characters in real life.
