Mortal Kombat

**Watched in preparation for Mortal Kombat 2 tonight.** I vaguely remember watching Mortal Kombat (1995) when I was a kid. My dad loved martial arts movies so we often watched them together. I don't actually know if the original MK movie is much of a martial arts movie but I do remember enjoying it. Probably cause of all of the silly shit in thje movie. This itteration of MK also has some silly shit. But unfortunately not enough. It's not enough to have characters say "flawless victory" and "fatality". There is a dude who grew metal arms and an australian who shoots lasers from his eyes. Embrace the goofiness.
