A magical moment, and one of the last truly good original stories from Disney. Shocked it took me so long to finally sit and watch this as I’ve been in awe of this spectacular soundtrack since this went viral on tiktok years ago. This features a great message about individuality and purpose. Lin Manuel Miranda excelled with nearly everything about this soundtrack…he just HAD to throw in the Bruno rap at the end. This features the last good original music from Disney in my eyes and if this IS IT this is a stellar way to leave off. The entire vocal cast is just unbelievable, I hope this gets the Disney jr series treatment so we can spend more time with these characters. I did not have enough time with the majority of them, nosey ass Dolores needed MORE!! With all that being said it’s still fuck Abuela and I would have absolutely blown that goddamn candle out if I was the only one without a gift.
