Frozen

For the first time in Forever (reprise) you’ll always be famous! I forgot how much I love this movie and this soundtrack is about to run my life the next few weeks. This is such a cute movie that’s full of heart and I love the message that true love isn’t always based in a kiss. My only complaint would be that in the end Anna still decides to be with someone she met that day, I like Kristoff and I believe a relationship between those two is gonna be fun to see in the sequel but here it felt forced. After we establish Anna was using love from the male characters as a placeholder for the love she missed from Elsa it felt unnecessary for them to be together in the end. Idina Menzel as Elsa is one of the most perfect casting decisions ever, The Let it Go sequence is one of the most magnifying musical moments put to film. I love Anna but I think the main flaw of this movie is that Elsa really does take a backseat in a lot of her story cause the majority of the movie she’s just waiting around for people to find her for her story to progress. I’m in shock it took so long for me to revisit this movie as I think this is all around fantastic, after I take a nap I’ll watch the sequel for the first time so I’m excited for that
