Before Sunset
I'm literally the target audience for this series lol
I dunno I dunno :,} everything was so real – from the cautiousness and kind of detachment in the initial scenes to the progression of their candor with one another. It was almost agonizing watching Ethan Hawke's performance because it's so well played that it feels extremely personal and hits a lil too close to home. The way he looked at her, the fidgeting, the boyish charm, you could see through his whole body the excitement and his like ache be with/spend time with Celine.
... and we shan't even get into all the ways I relate with Celine, but the resemblance bt our thinking is uncanny. I credit this to Julie being on the writing team
