Into the Wild
I've been putting off watching this movie for so long... While he comes off as incredibly privileged and spoiled, the message of community really resonated with me, and I think that's the point of the movie - the realization of a privileged white boy that people are meant to rely on each other, to love each other, to argue with each other... His stubbornness in pursuing a life of isolation while declining all of the advice in contrary from everyone he met along his travels, only to meet that realization in the end, is what makes it, in my opinion, a great coming of age story.
