Submarine

ironically the sting of my first breakup is clouding my enjoyment of this film. i empathise so much with jordana in how badly she was treated by a boy trapped in his head but when it all came down to it, it could never really be one persons fault. i sympathise for oliver as he cannot help the product he has become, needing jordana to better himself but shelving her when she needed him most. must be an oliver thing.  i loved this film. it had the sauce all my favourite films have. a fucked up family, offputting characters and young stupidity.  can oliver be excused from class, his little heart is broken
