The Daytrippers

i like when films hit the nail on the head with family quirks and this film is full of them. it was super heartwarming and made me very nostalgic for a time and place i never have and never will go. i also like when humans do human things and react poorly and emotionally and disregard the feelings of those around them, or those they’re stuck in a car with for an extended period of time.  what i don’t like is that bitchass mum meddling talking some “does your mother know about her son” bullshit “you have no right! you have no right giving anybody advice, mom.” i feel at home in this movie
