Almost Famous

Couldn’t stop smiling from start to finish, apart from when I was on the floor crying of-course. Certain films just have an essence, a vibe, a feeling that makes you never want to leave the world and its characters. If you can achieve this cinematically, that’s some of the highest praise I can give, and will always be the viewing experiences I cherish the most.  I have never wanted to be a teenager in the 70’s more than this. I’m legitimately upset the world isn’t like this anymore, but I couldn’t be more appreciative that films like this exist, as for those moments after hitting play until the credits roll, I can escape into them.  This has injected me with so much love for life and people and friendships and human connection.  ❤️
