jesus christ. my highest anticipated movie of ‘23 + ‘24 since it got pushed back and it didn’t disappoint! excuse me for being cinephileesc for a sec. the mostly stationary camera work is SO good and useful in a way where the cinematography will be the same but the emotions will be polar opposites.  yes this movie is a blend of sex, romance, passion, and duh tennis. but at the times where a sex scene is most anticipated, you’re hit with a scene that tugs on ur fucking heart and all u wanna do is slam ur head into a wall or just sit in a corner and think. with a mostly lyricless score it achieves so much and i am so excited to be able to watch this again and again.  and of course, no good movie is complete without an ending that practically leaves you BEGGING for more.  i loved call me by your name, i loved challengers, and i will love anything else luca guadgnino has to offer! ps: this one is DEF for the bisexies ❤️
