Django Unchained

Probably Tarantino’s best film. Also his best looking for sure, some gorgeous shots. This movie friggin bangs. The first hour is a little slow, albeit still great, but once they get to Candyland it starts moving and doesn’t stop. DiCaprio and Waltz are electric and every scene between them is mesmerizing. Jamie Foxx is great as well, he’s mostly quiet in those scenes but still gives an excellent performance using mostly body language and facial expressions. The action is awesome and the practical effects look so dang good. More serious than most of Tarantino’s films, but it works really well. Still has some laughs but knows when to be serious. Friggin love this movie.
