Caché
Because of this being one of the most well beloved Michael Haneke film, there really is nothing to for me to add to except that Haneke is, I can't believe I'm saying this the G.O.A.T, creating and blocking scenes that are well planned, but seems unstimulated, complex characters who's true identities are never shown, topics of art and privilege that seems fresh, beautiful technicality, and all of this wrapped in the fact that he treats you like a free-thinking adult. This man has shaped my teenage film experience; I'm 17 and I've seen like 9 of his films, and all of them, in some way or another, qualifies them for greatness, and with Caché, he proves himself at creating tension and interesting stories that are easy, if not uncomfortable to revisit.
