Adolescence
the show masterfully peels back the layers of online influence, isolation, and misguided mentorship, exposing how easy it is to slip into something dark without even realizing it. what makes this so gripping is its refusal to offer easy answers, the events unfold with an almost unbearable tension, letting the audience sit with the weight of every decision, every misstep. and with each episode shot in a single take, there’s no room to look away, unfiltered reality playing out in real time. the performances are staggering. Owen Cooper delivers a breakout performance so natural it barely feels like acting, and Stephen Graham is, as always, phenomenal. but beyond the acting, it’s the storytelling that leaves a mark.
