Mass

Finally managed to catch this, and boy was it worth the wait. It is truly amazing how much they managed to accomplish with such a minimalistic setting and cast. The script is pretty much flawless in my opinion. The editing strikes a good balance between letting scenes linger while still maintaining pace and not fall down the hole of letting the film go on for too long. Even with the same few shots in such a limited space it feels like there’s always new things to discover. The fact that this is getting snubbed left and right this season is a tragedy.
