These guys suck but they suck in a total human way. They had shitty childhoods, felt the need to hide away the parts that they didn’t think anyone would get. They latch on to people who seem happy (George, June and Paul) and form this kind of codependency where they make the people dependent on them to avoid being alone. They people they latch on to get damaged in return and it’s all becomes some shitstorm. Amy gets together with George cause she thought he’d fix her and Danny kept Paul close to him cause he didn’t want to be alone. These are mistakes that everyone makes on a day to day basis but it just goes to show how selfish and how much it can mess up the other person. George and Paul had their own problems and messed up feelings, not the same as Danny and Amy’s but regardless they had stuff they felt but couldn’t express so they had to express it to outsiders. This show really just shows how people latch on to one another for a myriad of reasons. Even Naomi latches on to Jordan but when push comes to shove….. Love this. Miserable people rule.
