Superman

I FORGOT TO REVIEW.  genuinely so amazing. i cried three times while watching. it’s so hopeful to have a movie with a main message of having love for everyone around you and people you’ve never even met to be so popular. there’s something so beautiful about seeing so many children get to grow up with a role model like this superman, because above all else- above what beliefs you have, what country you live in, what your backstory is- we are all human and nothing is more punk rock than caring about the people around you.  James Gunn i love you, you know how to make really good movies. I love how genuine all of the characters he makes feel, like the lines they deliver are something they truly believe (obviously a lot of that credit goes towards the actors). I love James Gunns love and care for animals, Krypto was perfect in this movie!!  “I wasn’t representing anybody except for me, and doing good.” THIS is was a superhero is, I think it’s ironic a lot of people consider this movie to be ‘woke’, because if you do think that being a representative for good is ‘too woke’ maybe you need to do some introspective thinking. We SHOULD care about people we’ve never met dying, we SHOULD want to help people regardless of whether we can relate to anything about their life. This movie has really brought that to light for a lot of people, this movie has moved so many people to act, to care, and to feel hope, and if anything that is what movies are for.
