Sinners

i remember exactly how i felt when i walked out of the cinema about three months ago after seeing this for the first time.  stunned. amazed. exhilarated. i remember what i did the second i got home. i went online and looked for the physical copy to preorder it, because damn, i needed to own that (physical media!!!).  then i looked at the date and thought: “i gotta wait till the end of july???” and i’ve been sitting here, waiting. waiting for the day when my steelbook would finally arrive so i could watch that in my room and more importantly, could make my dad watch this, because damn, that’s what i call a great fucking movie.  the shots are amazing, sound is goosebumps-worthy (the songs, oh my god the songs!!!), acting is astounding and the story is so rich. i’m not lying or exaggerating when i say that i’ve been thinking about this movie daily ever since may, and it feels like i learn something new about it daily too.  THIS is cinema. THIS is why i love movies. THIS made me love movies more. god, how i love movies.
