Interstellar

yes, i waited 10 years to watch this, but no, i do not regret it because the current state of our world made it so much more real and terrifying. while, at it’s core, interstellar is a fantasy, it spoke quietly about capitalism and overconsumption. it spoke loudly about the human condition. my girls with daddy issues make some noise because i haven’t cried so much since watching titanic at 10 years old and experiencing anxiety for the first time. the most beautiful film i’ve ever seen, easily and immediately top 3 oat. light years ahead of its time.
