Stalker

An extremely existential Russian sci-fi classic. Was I a little sleepy watching, absolutely but that’s more a testament to Tarkovsky’s hypnotic style. The character of the writer and the scientist are great prisms of thought to see the zone through. They both offer very interesting ideas on what they should do once they reach the Room. Stalker is an excellent “artsy” sci-fi movie with some of the most gorgeous imagery I’ve seen in a film. Very thought provoking film. Very high level film shit right here. This is one of those movies that’s your favorite director’s movie. It’s dense but I love it for that.
