The Shining

Holy shit. After so many rewatches, this will always remain as such a phenomenal movie.. probably even better on the big screen honestly. So many awesome performances, camera angles and iconic scenes!!! However, I've actually never seen the director's cut before until today and honestly, I think I prefer the theatrical version because there were such unneeded and unnecessary scenes that were additionally used!! (Also, unrelated but what the fuck, tell me why on earth there were two people who decided to make out seats behind us.. also deciding to both walk out of the screening and come back like 5-10 minutes after.. if you want to do dodgy stuff, i highly recommend that you do that in the comfort of your OWN house!!! 😭)
