Yes, I’m a **David Fincher **enthusiast. I like **modern psychological thrillers**, as you can tell. **————•|•————** **Rating System**: (I rate movies according to what I like and don’t like. It has nothing to do with critical consensus or internet hype) ★★★★★ ↑Masterpiece/Personal favorite. ★★★★½ ↑Nearly perfect. ★★★★ ↑Great. ★★★½ ↑Alright. ★★★ ↑Decent. ★★½ ↑Uninteresting. ★★ ↑Disappointing. ★½ ↑Bad. ★ ↑Horrible. ½ ↑That was a ticket worth of money. **————•|•————** “**All you need in life is one loyal best friend and you can conquer the world**.”

Where has this movie been all my life? I think this might just be my **favorite horror movie** yet, as it commentates on *a lot*** **of similar situations that I have encountered. Watching it again is something I needed to do, because watching it once is **not **enough.

I don’t know how to arrange my thoughts on this film—it usually happens when I see a film* so* *staggeringly*** great **that it has me at a loss for words at the end. I’m going to start with the following: **The Odyssey is a phenomenal adaptation of one of the most significant pieces of literature in human history**. This film is a **beautiful**, **emotional** **anti-war** film with **top-tier **acting performances. The acting from Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon, and Anne Hathaway is *absolutely ***elite**. The cinematography is also **marvelous**. The film left me immensely attentive; my eyes were **fully drawn** to the IMAX screen. I loved every single **millisecond** of this film. I see **massive **potential for **Tom Holland **to win Best Actor in a Leading Role for this film. **Robert Pattinson**, too, for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Both are **damn good **actors. I also forgot to mention that this film *ultimately* gives me video game vibes. Specifically, it captures the **God of War** & **Ghost of Tsushima **aesthetics—both are two of my favorite video games ever.

Even though sports aren’t typically my thing, this film **says otherwise**. I absolutely *love ***Aaron Sorkin**. He continues to be my **number one favorite screenwriter** to this day. The way the characters talk and interact with each other is just **pure genius**. I won’t take that **Sorkinesque **dialogue for granted—rapid-fire dialogue is *truly* **perfect**. ** Moneyball is an absolute masterpiece of modern screenwriting**. I will continue to *adore *dialogue-driven films, as this film excels in **all six of these categories**: cinematography, atmosphere, character development, emotional weight, film score, and dialogue. Director **Bennett Miller** and the film crew all deserve *a lot* of credit for this. Now I understand why this is **Captain Ray Holt**’**s favorite movie**.
