Moneyball

Even though sports aren’t typically my thing, this film says otherwise. I absolutely *love *Aaron Sorkin. He continues to be my number one favorite screenwriter to this day. The way the characters talk and interact with each other is just pure genius. I won’t take that Sorkinesque dialogue for granted—rapid-fire dialogue is truly perfect. ** Moneyball is an absolute masterpiece of modern screenwriting**. I will continue to adore dialogue-driven films, as this film excels in all six of these categories: cinematography, atmosphere, character development, emotional weight, film score, and dialogue. Director Bennett Miller and the film crew all deserve a lot of credit for this. Now I understand why this is Captain Ray Holt’s favorite movie.
