Challengers

This movie was incredibly awkward to the point that I laughed at some intimate scenes just to cope. Though it might sound negative, it really isn’t as bad as these words suggest. This movie perfectly captures themes of lust, ego, validation, competence, and jealousy. Thus, the character study is very revealing and not romanticized, and the intertwining ending is just spectacular. Because watching this movie is like hearing and picturing petty gossip your friend tells you about. It sounds ridiculous, but it leaves you extremely attentive. What an amazing movie.
