Mentally fucking broken
Aftersun genuinely messed me up. I finished it and just sat there staring at the credits trying to process everything.
The more I thought about it afterwards, the sadder it got, especially all the little moments that seem normal at first.
Paul Mescal was incredible and yeah, this film absolutely broke me (and yes ik I’ve said this like 5 times in this review LEAVE ME ALONE). 😭
