The Florida Project

You know why this is my favourite tree? Why? Cause it’s tipped over Ngl kinda teared up at the end✌️ The Florida Project hurt in a very quiet way. Seeing everything through Moonee’s eyes makes life feel fun and colourful, even when you know things are really bad underneath. Nothing feels forced, and the small everyday moments end up hitting the hardest. What stayed with me is the contrast. The kids are poor but still feel free, the adults are rough but still trying. Halley is far from perfect, but everything she does is about protecting her kid. It’s messy, sad, and somehow still beautiful.
