The Dreamers

*"Yes, I'm drunk. And you're beautiful. And tomorrow morning, I'll be sober, but you'll still be beautiful." ⋆˚꩜｡🎞🚬⛓️🌧🕯🪥👄🚲🖼🍳🩸🍷🍌🛁📺🔥 Here's to the dreamers who dream! ₊˚⊹♡ This is one of those movies that leave you sitting there contemplating life while the end credits roll. This movie could genuinely be 4 hours long, and it still wouldn't be enough! ₊˚⊹♡ The cinematography is so lush and intimate. The apartment becomes its own character, a decaying, golden-hued womb that becomes a sanctuary where time stands still, even as the world outside is literally burning. ₊˚⊹♡ I love how this uses actual clips from classic films to mirror the characters' actions and their passion for cinema. To find people who express their love for cinema the same way I do would truly be a dream! ₊˚⊹♡ I can't believe this is Eva Green's first movie. She's so effortless with her performance. She manages to be both ethereal and deeply damaged, channelling the spirit of classic Hollywood starlets! ₊˚⊹♡ The ending is beyond perfection. Literally left me with my jaw on the floor. I had literal goosebumps the whole time, but especially when 'non, je ne regrette rien' started playing, that just made the scene incredible!* ₊˚⊹♡ erotic list! 💦
