Disclosure Day
“If you are watching this, if you are seeing this, you are not alone.”
Holy fuck, I think that this is top 3 movie of the year for me so far. Steven Spielberg has done it again. I was enthralled from start to finish. The cinematography was absolutely beautiful. Janusz Kamiński has done it again. Still one of the best cinematographers in the game. I cried so many times at multiple shots in this film. It’s such a beautifully shot film. Fantastic performances from the entire cast, but I wanna hone in on Emily Blunt specifically. She gave an Oscar winning performance. I genuinely think she has a chance at taking home the best actress hardware next year. Every emotion from her was felt. Happy, sad, everything in between. I felt it. If she doesn’t get nominated next year, I’m gonna be so mad. Towards the end, Courtney Grace was absolutely fantastic. Genuinely hope that performance opens up doors for her in big acting roles the future. John Williams. One of the greatest to ever fucking do it. His score alongside the film is just mwah chef’s kiss. It’s what helped me feel all the emotions perfectly. Hearing his score on the Dolby Atmos speakers was just brilliant. I love this movie so much. Bravo to all the cast and crew on this film. I can’t wait to watch it again on Tuesday.
PLEASE SEE THIS ON THE BIGGEST SCREEN THAT YOU CAN. Whether it be IMAX or Dolby or CineXL (at Harkins if you live in the Arizona area like I do), whichever is your preference, PLEASE GO SEE IT. I cannot recommend it enough.
Long live Spielberg, long live cinema.
