Obsession

HOOOOLY FUCK. This movie lives up to the hype & buzz it was getting from people who saw it early. Was genuinely freaked out from start to finish. The comedy to horror pipeline stays undefeated. Curry Barker is in a league of his own with this film. He perfectly builds up the tension and horror elements in the movie. I cannot wait for his take on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The cinematography and lighting were absolutely amazing as well. I was absolutely enamored with a lot of the shots in this film. The sound design was also top notch. Inde Navarrette is an ABSOLUTE STAR in this movie. In a fair and just world where the Oscars actually, truly cared about fully recognizing horror films as a genre, Inde would be nominated for an Oscar. She’s that damn good in this film in my opinion. I can’t wait to see what roles she does in the near future. Michael Johnston was also just as great. Excited to see what he does in the future too. The rest of the cast was great too. I hope their careers are only going up from here.
