Top Gun

Genuinely an amazing experience watching this in Dolby as opposed to the first time I watched this in 2022 at home before Top Gun Maverick in Dolby Cinema. So much so that I raised it to five stars. It’s that damn good in a theater. It felt like watching it for the first time all over again. You could really feel the sound of the jets reverberating around you as if you were in the fighter pilot seat yourself. Great performances all around from the entire cast. Please catch this re-release whether it be in IMAX or Dolby Cinema. One of the only reasons I had to choose Dolby over IMAX is because my AMC for some reason put Top Gun Maverick first at 4:30 PM and Top Gun at 7:45 PM for some god forsaken reason. Otherwise I would have double featured it in IMAX. Would have felt weird to me otherwise to watch the films in reverse order.
