Big Fish
*The story of my life.
*
I learned a lot from this film with the relationship between father and son, storytelling about Edward Bloom's journey and the love of his life. Imagine that you went through the problems and people understand how hard your life is, I would be appreciated and die peacefully.
Every dialogue every word comes out for a character's mouth is just like the philosophy for me to think about all day night.
Just another imagine how we know we die, is it bad or good? Well, it tells us already like Don and Edward, Edward uses it to make his life better because he already knows his destiny and not afraid to do anything unlike Don. By the way, it's just a story that Edward tells his son and combines with fantasy to make it look more interesting, but it also tells us to believe in ourselves too, every time I want to give up, I always hit myself up and saying it's so easy why don't I try a little harder, my parents doesn't raise me to be weak (it's a lil toxic btw hahaha) but it's just a motto to remind myself not to give up, because we write our own stories.
Another line I noticed was "This is why you shouldn't show a work in progress" It's awesome! We shouldn't show work that has not yet done because they don't see that we want to do and what in our mind yet. But I would be good tho, if we show it to someone that understand us, so that it's not too late to correct our mistake cuz we don't see our own fault i guess.
Is it true that "when you meet the love of your life, time stops"? I don't really know that, but when I first meet the love of ny life, the world was shaking just like my heart was beating for her and time was running so fast that took away all the pain that i had and give me back the joy that i never felt.
Every time Edward tell a story about his past, we see that the scene is bright and looks like a happy life, unlike his presence, it can also tell about emotions. How can a man who has a good relationship with everyone but can not give his son a good relationship?
There are only two times his wife cried, it's the time he's dead. One she was told by the others, another she's told by Edward Bloom, she's the love of his life ofc she knows exactly how thing goes, she wasn't even panic if anything bad happened to him and stay calm when she saw him sleeping in the water, but her tears were just like a sign for me to say goodbye to Edward Bloom.
A man tells stories so many times that he became a stories. They live after him. And in that way, he becomes immortal.
