Psycho
Psycho (1960)

My first Alfred’s movie was Vertigo. I was already thrilled and felt the tension after watching it then I watched another movies of his, but I never had the occasion to watch Psycho (plus I never had the guts, lol, I thought it was very scary) but today—at last—I watched Psycho. Wow. Faultless.
He is indeed the master of suspense. The music trembled my heart and successfully created the suspense atmosphere. Not to mention the house that located behind the motel and towering over it, also the black & white effect that added the mysterious vibes.
It didn’t occured to me that it would be something psychological (lol the title says it all, I’m just sometimes being too dumb to realize the correlation between the movie’s title and the story itself). At first I didn’t realize that the, what is the phrase, villain? That Norman Bates is the ‘villain’, I thought it was his mother.
