In Moonlight, Black boys look Blue This quote stayed with me the entire movie and after it ended. The whole movie can be explained by this one sentence. It's a beautiful potrayel of a person trying to find his identity. It shows something which I believe in, people are complex and can't be defined in a single word or expression. Act 1 & 3 are my fav, especially the first one. Juan makes a huge impact in his limited screentime. Act 2 while my least favourite of the three, it has the most character development. Act 3 while being slower in pace has the most emotion. The final shot of the film is so.gorgeous
