Parasite

So, I have a rule that I will only give a maximum of 4.5 stars to a movie after the first watch. This is to ensure that I’m not overestimating my enjoyment of a film or rewarding it with recency bias. I firmly believe that Parasite is a 10/10 five star movie. I’ve never been more sure walking out of a theater that what I just watched is worthy of all 5 stars. I write this to make it clear that I have no issues with Parasite, and even the small things I thought I had issues with were, upon further thought, elements that ENHANCED the film. But rules is rules, so 4.5 stars it shall remain until I (hopefully) see it again soon.
