The Killer

John Woo is a legend. This one really hits all the emotions and is a hell of a ride. I love how you can go from a heartfelt, sentimental moment immediately into guns blazing with no regard for civilian life whatsoever. Throw in the occasional humorous dialogue and boom, you get a banger of a film. I enjoyed this a little more than Hard Boiled since it felt more well rounded and had a better story, but no misses from Mr. Woo so far. The scene at the Dragon Boat festival was especially cool. Bro got sniped 3 times, including a headshot, and his security still tried playing it off by telling the crowd that Wong “just fainted” LOL.
