About Time

sometimes people think i'm joking when i say this is my favourite film. no other film I've seen plucks such a divine tune on my heartstrings, and makes me dispair at the frailty of life like this film does. packed to the brim with incredible (yes, genuinely incredible) performances. each member of the core cast is absolutely exceptional. these are the definitive roles of tom hollander, rachel mcadams, bill nighy, and domnhall gleeson's careers. the soundtrack, score, musical choices. exquisite. the waterboys deserve a credit in every single film. lets be honest, the cinematography in this is gorgeous. everything is bright, and the lighting in the interior shots makes the whole film feel like a autumn evening. the locations are incredible. that house in cornwall, maddon'!! is it riddled with plotholes? yes. is it overly sentimental? yes. do i give a solitary fuck? absolutely fucking not. i adore this film wholeheartedly.
