Midnight Mass

mike flanagan sure knows how to make me cry you know how in hush, samantha sloyan’s character said she never saw the ending coming? yeah i never saw ANY of the major plot coming. but i’d have to say, this made me think so, so much. while i much prefer mike’s previous work, the haunting and gerald’s game namely, this was DEFINITELY a worthy mike project and it was refreshing to see a brand new flanagan piece this year. also kate siegel and samantha sloyan have the awards season in the palm of their hands. i literally have so much to say about this and i don’t want to overwhelm this review. one other thing though: i caught both major cameos in episode one and i don’t know if that shows my knowledge or my nerdiness. edit: realized i misspelled samantha’s last name 😭
