9/10 Stand-alone  10/10 as a companion to hereditary  One day i will write my 10,000 word masterpiece about how hereditary and midsommar are two different sides of one Traumatic incident ( a night and day cycle if you will) and how the philosophies of each of the cults directly influence the experience of our main characters, however it is 11:30pm so I suppose today is not the day, either way i urge you if you have the chance ( and have seen both film’s Separately first) to view both films in a relative short time span. It is truly special.
